Virtual Machine

Virtual Machine is a term used for computing device that exist within and can run an operating system and other programs like a “physical” computer. Virtual Machine can be configured to execute a virtual environment that is not native to the host computer, much like a virtualization layer within a software layer. In this manner, a Virtual Machine creates a fully-contained computing environment that can run applications in isolation from the computer and/or network on which they run.
